Place order with Promotion

The Partner, as the Seller of Record, is responsible for managing, processing, and capturing
sales or any other forms of funds, and subsequently settles with BHN. When the Partner wishes
to run a promotion, they can leverage BHN's promotion capabilities to effectively manage the
promotion.

Supported Promotion Types

Promotion Type	Description
Percentage Discount	Percentage discount on a gift card brand Example: 1. 10% discount on purchase of a gift card 2. 10% discount upto $30 on purchase of a gift card
Flat Discount	Flat discount on a gift card brand Example: Flat $10 discount on purchase of a gift card
Value Add	Increase in purchase value of a gift card brand Example: 1. Get 10% more on purchase of a gift card 2. Get $10 more on purchase of a gift card
Tiered Discount	Different discount levels based on value of the gift card brand - This can be Flat or % discount. Example: 1. Get 5% discount on purchase of a $100 gift card 2. Get 10% discount on purchase of a $250 gift card

How to set up the promotion in BHN

BHN Team will assist is managing the promotion program with all involved stakeholders.
Promotion information/ details will be assigned to the respective Products in the
partner’s Catalog and detail information of the promotion for the product can be pulled
from Catalog API.

Steps to place order with Promotion

Step	API	Type	Description
1	Procure Token via Identity API	POST	The Identity Service enables partners to get an OAuth Identity token. This token is used to access BHN's API Gateway and related services systematically, according to the defined OAuth scope.
2	Get Product Information via Catalog API	GET	Partners can use BHN's Catalog APIs to get product details like brands and images for updating their Product Information Manager. Get the promotion details for the Product. They should utilize content information (productId, pricing, promo) when using the Create Order API to generate orders.
3	Create Order	POST	The Order APIs enable partners to easily create and submit orders, providing details such as orderable products, promotion information, quantities, delivery information, etc. Order will be processed based on product & promotion validation.
4	Order Servicing API	GET	BHN manages the promotion budget for both successful and failed journeys.
